Welcome to Pink Saturday. Our lovely hostess as always is Beverly from "How Sweet The Sound."

As I get older I find myself visiting past Holidays and remembering how simple everything seemed to be. These photos are from 1955.

There was a beautiful innocence about the world. Or maybe we were so sheltered from the world. This was my very first Christmas in 1954.

This bobble head Santa belonged to my Nana and every Christmas sat on a shelf in her kitchen. The felt Santa was usually near the television in her living room. The roly poly was bought for my son for his first Christmas in 1975. They are some of my favorite things.

How adorable is this? It's the Charlie Brown Tree. When I saw it at the store I immediately knew It had to come home with me.

Have a wonderful weekend pinkies.

Oh Joyce, you look just like Katie, when you were little. You were so cute, and still are, I might add. I love your Nana's bobble head Santa, and that Charlie Brown Christmas tree is adorable.

I got your message late, and didn't want to call, but Sunday sounds wonderful. I will call you tomorrow.

Happy Pink Saturday.

Just stopped back to say, that the second baby photo of you, looks like you were playing with the paper. You were probably thinking about crafting even then.

I feel the same way - as a kid growing up in the 50's there did seem to be a simplicity that is missing today. What lovely photos! And I love the Santas. Happy Pink Saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie... I love your story. And your pictures are just precious. What a doll baby.

The one Santa that is on the right in the back, my Moma had one of those. You gave me a memory looking at it. Thank you for sharing.

Please stop by and let me share my Pink post with you.

Aw, I love your Charlie Brown Christmas tree. How cute is that?! (Note to self: must get one) What treasures those ornaments are...one from your Nana? Wow! They're all so cute. I think we were so much more sheltered from the world back then. Insulated.

What sweet old photos! I've been looking at some of ours I brought from my Mom's house.

Your three Santas are special! You've combined your Nana's cherished pieces with some from the next generation.

Have a lovely Christmas and a great Pink SAturday!
