Welcome to "Pink Saturday". Bev from "How Sweet the Sound" is our lovely hostess.

A Royal Injury ( AKA The Pink Eye )

Last Saturday I had a photo shoot at the "Paxton Winter Carnival" for the newspaper. I thought that it would be a lovely idea to bring Princess Kate along for some winter fun. Things were going perfectly until she walked into another group of sledders coming down the hill. Up she flew and came down on her face, breaking her glasses and messing up her cute little face!

Being the crazy little trooper she is, back up the hill she went.

By the next day her face had turned a royal shade of pink. Her mom and I were horrified and ready to run her to the emergency room. She thought it looked pretty, after all pink is her favorite color.

Kids are so amazing. Within less than a week all trace of her "boo boo" is almost gone. I would have been scarred for life. She wants to go again. I want to curl up on my sofa under a blanket and sleep till spring. It's much safer.

'Till next week, fellow Pinkies, have a safe and fabulous weekend

OMG, Kate should be in the movies. I love the one where she is coming down the sled. And that cutie patutie one at the end when she is lifting up her glasses. This post is adorable.

P.S. I went to the doctor today to find out why my eye kept twitching and I had migranes. My blood pressure was sky high. Yikes, I usually have low blood pressure. Well, it's under control now, hopefully I'll be on the mend.

Talk to you soon.

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
That little Princess Kate should be in the movies for sure. She is a future Olympian bobsledder. I am so proud of her. She even took the bruises that go along with a future Olympian. You should repost this with "FUTURE OLYMPIAN". I would enter it into the newspapers as such too. She got right up and went right back to it. I am so tickled to see her coming down that hill. Even though it broke your heart, she was having the time of her life.

Once you gain back those 10 years you lost in fear, then you might agree to another trip. See why we end up with grey hair?

Oh sweetie a beautiful post. I love it.

Thank you for sharing with me today. Have a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Country hugs and much love...Sherry

Oh my goodness.. I'm glad she's o.k. now! What a little cutie! I had to smile, because with her little glasses on, she reminds me of my daughter when she was her age!.. Happy Pink Saturday, and hope you're enjoying the weekend! ~tina

Those are terrific shots! I'm so glad she's okay. It's funny how those accidents don't even seem to slow them down. Don't you wish we were that resilient? Have a good week! Terri

Oh NO! What a sweet little princess....bless her little pink heart. Thank you Joyce for coming by for some Dutch Fairy Tales....and celebrating my sweet friends in the Netherlands. I adore them so. How are ya' out there in Mass. where I grew up? I love Minnesota, but Mass. will always have a special place in my heart.
